Edoardo Dinelli is an Italian composer, pianist, and music producer whose creative work bridges classical acoustic performance, multimedia design, and screen scoring.

 

He began playing the piano at age five, later earning his Classical Piano degree from the "R. Franci" Music Institute in Siena. Driven by a strong compositional instinct, he studied composition under Fabrizio Papi and Pietro Rigacci before specializing in film scoring at the National Film School in Rome under masters including Manuel De Sica, Franco Mannino, and Academy Award-winner Luis Bacalov. Expanding his artistic scope into technology, he earned a Master’s degree in Music and New Technologies at the "L. Cherubini" Conservatory in Florence.

Over his career, Edoardo has composed extensively for theatre, film, and concert halls internationally. Notably, he spent a decade as resident composer for Il Paracadute di Icaro, scoring major stage productions at Florence’s Rifredi Theatre (including  #IOSONOSAMIA, acclaimed stage adaptation of “Non dirmi che hai paura” by Italian novelist G. Catozzella).

 

In 2025, he was selected as Composer-in-Residence at the WindWorks Festival in Iceland, where his suite Völuspá was commissioned and premiered by international festival ensembles. 

 

His concert works have been performed in Italy and worldwide—highlighted by his saxophone orchestra composition "Camille" at the World Saxophone Congress in Gran Canaria in 2023. 

 

In film, his original score for the short film "Legs"—which was selected for numerous international festivals, including the prestigious David di Donatello awards—won the award for Best Soundtrack at the "La Scala" International Film Festival.

 

His sheet music and scores—ranging from solo piano works and four-hand piano pieces to saxophone quartets and various chamber ensembles—are published by Da Vinci Publishing (Osaka, Japan). His commercial recordings are released under the label Da Vinci Classics, featuring titles such as "STREAM" (piano and soprano saxophone) and "Saxofour" (saxophone quartet).
